The most beautiful and quietest rally traditionally launches in Istria, May 26th till June 1st from the medieval town of Rovinj, before the participants drive around the hilly hinterland of Istria, experiencing oil and wine tasting and lunch overlooking the vineyards.
Rally is held since 2014. With international participants from all over Europe and even USA and Canada.
On 2nd Race Day the drivers can really test their skills and the potential of their electric cars on a private airport strip in Vrsar before hitting the roads of central Istria. From the artist hill town of Vodnjan to the true capital of Buzet, the roads meander through a Tuscan-looking landscape with fortified hilltowns peaking down to the quiet cars in the rally.
Although the event is called Nikola Tesla EV Rally, it’s not reserved exclusively for Tesla cars, the rally is named after Nikola Tesla who was born in Croatia, Smiljan and everyone with an EV can participate and test their vehicle along “The Green Electric Highway” that provides charging stations along the way at important and interesting locations. After a whole day of the driving and visiting city of Zadar, the drive will end on the beautiful Island Brač and Hvar.
Participants will sail around Pakleni Islands and visit town of Hvar. Final days are reserved for visiting the UNESCO World Heritage city of Trogir, Split and Šibenik where the winner of Nikola Tesla EV Rally Croatia 2024. will be awarded and celebrated but all the participants and take home the most important trophy: memories for a lifetime.

This electric adventure is worldwide recognized and supported by many Croatian government institutions (HTZ) along with local municipality along the route and this year we are especially proud to have The Croatian Post as a partner as they have the largest green vehicle fleet in Croatia, consisting of more than 420 electric vehicles. At the same time, a network of charging stations for electric vehicles was developed, covering 18 cities with a total of 115 charging stations and show how to lead by an example.
